Equivalent to three A-levels, our T-Level qualifications are two-year courses that have been developed in collaboration with businesses to meet the needs of the industry and prepare you for a career in your chosen sector.Our Health T-Level has been specifically developed to give you an insight into key aspects of the healthcare sector, with a specific specialism in Supporting Adult Nursing. You will study a range of modules, including the Health Sector, Providing Personal Centred Care, Health and Wellbeing, in addition to science elements in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Our specialist industry-expert teaching team will deliver your lessons at Eccles Sixth Form College.

Progression

Upon successful completion of our T-Level Health qualification, you can apply to a university of your choice. Your T-Level qualification will be worth UCAS points (a T-Level Distinction* is worth the same as 3 A-Levels at A*) and will be recognised by universities and other education providers so that you can continue studying if you wish. You may also choose to explore Higher or Degree Level apprenticeships.Many of our T-Level Health students’ progress onto university to study a wide range of nursing specialisms, including Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Children’s Nursing and Midwifery.Potential future employment opportunities for students who have completed our Health T-Level qualification include Ambulance Service Worker, Healthcare Support Worker (in a health setting), and Senior Healthcare Support Worker (in a health setting).

Assessment

When you have completed your T-Level qualification, you will receive an overall grade of Pass, Merit, Distinction or Distinction*. You will complete several assessments throughout your studies, including exams, coursework, synoptic assessments, and a reviewed industry placement.

Entry Requirements

Students are required to have achieved 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or higher, including English, maths and science. Students are also required to participate in a two-stage interview process with Eccles Sixth Form College and the Northern Care Alliance prior to being offered a place on this course.
