Outline

You will explore many areas including the changing awareness of crime, criminological theories, crime scene to courtroom, and crime and punishment. Each topic provides students with an introduction to criminal justice and the social humanities sector. 

Progression

Students who achieve this qualification progress onto study at university. The course is particularly suitable for degrees in youth work, criminology, law, humanities, human rights, social policy, probation, social work, psychology, or sociology. 

Entry Requirements

Vocational A-Levels: Students are required to have achieved a minimum of five grade 4s at GCSE, which must include either English or Maths.Additional Information: We will consider 1 Vocational qualification in place of a GCSE as long as a grade 4 is achieved in English.
